Halloween Cut-Out Biscuits, by Gonzalo


These adorable cut-out biscuits are tasty. Have fun decorating them.


Ingredients

  • 100g sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 200g butter
  • 360g flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla flavor
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 

Preparation method

Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 10 mins

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until it whitens.
Add the egg and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes.
 
Gradually add the flour mixed with the baking powder.
Let stand in the fridge for 1 hour

Roll out the dough to about a quarter of a centimetre thick. Using floured Halloween-shaped cutters, cut out the biscuits and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Re-roll any trimmings to cut out as many biscuits as you can. 
Bake at 175 in the preheated oven for 8 or 10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
